El uso de representaciones mentales en la resolución de problemas en matemáticas. El caso de Nivel Medio Superior
Abstract
The following research analyzes mental representations in Secondary education students from 16 to 17 years of age during their stay at the differential calculus course. The line of approach in this study focuses on the analysis of mental representations, which shows the description of the result, phenomenon or data of study. In general terms, students were allowed to develop descriptive processes in order the chance to guarantee cognitive coherence on the description of the system. It has been considered a particular model of the qualitative research: an empirical approach to analyze the recordings and the transcriptions during classes
