Coulomb corrected nonadiabatic instantaneous ionization rate and the electron trajectory in an elliptically polarized laser field
Abstract
This paper presents an analytical model that investigates the impact of Coulomb effect on tunneling ionization events in an elliptically polarized laser field. The model focuses on ionization rate and momenta, at a specific moment, based on recent experimental findings and strong-field approximation. Results show that incorporating Coulomb correction improves photoionization rate across various intensities and provides valuable insights into ionization mechanism, particularly for argon atoms at 410 and 800 nm wavelengths. This has significant implications for attosecond physics and ultrafast laser technology.
