Espacios construidos en el sector centro oriental de Tandilia (Pcia. de Buenos Aires, Argentina)
Abstract
Lithic built structures have been widely studied in different sectors of the Tandilia range as nodes of a cattle commercial network that involved inter-ethnic relations during the post conquest period. However, this kind of evidence had not been considered in the central east portion of this range until now. The aim of this paper is to introduce the archaeological site Los Tulis, a composed stone structure, and its particular contextual and constructive characteristics, within the framework of the human occupation in the area during the post conquest period. It is proposed that Los Tulis was a place built for human use, dismissing their direct relationship with the control and management of animals.
