PUBLIC FUNDING FOR HEALTH CARE AND POPULATION HEALTH CARE SATISFACTION

Abstract

The article presents data describing the current state of the health care system in the Russian Federation, addressed issues of underfunding of medical facilities, quality, accessibility and satisfaction of medical assistance. Special attention is paid to the low proportion of expenditures allocated to health-Russia’s gross domestic product, compared with European countries. Improve the situation involves the Federal program “development of health until the year 2020, which would increase the volume of budget financing, raising the pay of health care workers, increased life expectancy, reduced mortality.
