<i>Avanti, cari connazionali!</i> Tentativas de construção da italianidade em Santa Catarina

Abstract

The present article demonstrates a study of three periodic Italians who had circulated in Santa Catarina in the end of century XIX and beginning of century XX. Objective to reflect on the paper that theses vehicles of communication had exerted in the construction of Italian identity. Though its speeches an imaginary one concerning the italian national heroes was produced. Theses speeches had not only served "to revive"the colonial nuclei, as also they had favored of ideal fascists.
