Innowacje w usługach hotelarskich - analiza porównawcza rozwiązań innowacyjnych wdrażanych w wybranych hotelach województwa lubelskiego i małopolskiego

Abstract

The aim of the article is to compare the level of innovations in Małopolskie and Lubelskie viovodiship hotels. The choice of provinces was made on the basis of the expected disparities related to the tourist attractiveness and the capacity of the accommodation base. Hotels selected for analysis differ in the category, size and location. The research was carried out the first half of 2017. The research results indicate a significant advantage of innovative activities in the Małopolskie voivodship. According to the authors, this is related not only with the affiliation of hotels to large chains, but also with a competition on the market, “forcing” more creativity.
