Preaching and Literature. Sacred Oratory in the Spanish Golden Age
Abstract
The sacred oratory of the Golden Age has received very little attention from current literary critics. The reason may well be its religious content, designed for catechesis, which has made it difficult to study as a literary object. In these pages, we propose an analysis of the features that connect sermons with the literary universe of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
