This study aims to discuss the work in healthcare sector connected to the time and photography, in order to stimulate the thinking about the work by dedicating time to look and reflect about itself. The research was conducted with workers of a Basic Health Unit (UBS) in the city of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul state. We discussed how the production of photographic images can function as a stimulus strategy for viewing and thinking about the work that is often institutionalized and case-hardened by the daily difficulties related to the practice of basic health care. We highlight the strategies promoted by the intervention research and for the photographic intervention, producing an experience for both the researchers and the subjects of the territory, mixing themselves over the images production, leading to encounters and allowing the production of process analyzers. This research allowed work views and thinking, shifting the roles and calling for a support of a view, a time to think.
