Right from the very beginning of the prophetic era up to 3rd century, the compilation process of traditions of the Holy Prophet has been well-maintained. The companions of the Prophet were extremely cautious, assiduous and focused to keep the authenticity of the traditions. The experts safe guarded the life record of the narrators and facilitated the difference between the acceptable and unauthentic traditions. Still some of the acceptable traditions were apparently found to have contradictions therein among them .The jurists and scholars kept in view the different back ground and contextual perspectives of the situations and narrators, in order to overcome the contradictions. Among such scholars, one was Ahmad Bin Mohammad Al Tahavi, who was born in 853 A.H., at Taha village of Egypt .His expertise, depth and vastness of knowledge can be rightly and precisely estimated by studying his books assiduously. Hafiz Zahabi honoured him with the titles of Imam ,Allama, Great Hafiz,Muhaddis and the Jurist of Egypt .One of his prominent books is Sharha_e Mushldl_lul_ Aasaar,in which he has exercised the methodology of concordance, preference, and abrogation in order to overcome the contradictions of the commandments. In this context, his approach is vividly research oriented .The main focus of his book is to clarify vagueness and ambiguity of the statements .For this purpose, he takes the supports of other well-known scholarly research findings and consent of the jurists as well.
