Abstract

Knowledge is formed on the basis of human activities in social dialectics. Each community group will have knowledge of their respective professions, activities, and natural insights. The conservation clans living in the Kambam Valley are grazing communities. They have different knowledge about livestock. The cognitive systems of bulls, cows, racing cows, and bullocks become their intellectual property. They are aware of its characteristics with the actions of the rearing of the bull. Their knowledge of the types of dairy cows, milking methods and calving methods are also found in the novel. The knowledge of the people of Kappu Kula’s livestock is revealed in S. Venugopal's novel “Nunveli Kiraganangal”. Hence, the article deals with the concerned topic-related texts of the novel.
