A STUDY REGARDING PEOPLE SERVED TO THE TURKISH AND WORLD EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
Abstract
Purpose of this study is to examine such people served in education in certain aspects. The research was structured quantitatively. Data was described in their own. Data collection method is document analysis. Total 54 documents were examined. Life of 50 people served in the Turkish and World educational history was examined in the research. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis method. Firstly, short summaries of lives of people served in the Turkish and world educational history were provided following examination based on the relevant documents. At the second stage, people who served in the Turkish and World educational history were divided by periods. At the third stage, searched people were analyzed by their residential area, years of life, service fields and titles of task areas in their terms of office. As a result of the research, it is seen that 15 of peopled served in education are in literature science, 8 of them are scientists, 7 of them are philosophers, 6 of them are politicians, 4 of them are artists, 3 of them are sufis, 4 of them are educators, 2 of them are psychologists and 1 of them is sociologist. It means that education is subject of all people serving in any fields, of entire mankind. The research may be utilized as an auxiliary source in lectures related to educational history.
