Lifetime estimation methodology of water mains to asset evaluation/Metodologia de estimativa da vida útil das adutoras e sub-adutoras de água para avaliação de ativos

Abstract

A methodology was elaborated to evaluate the useful life of the infrastructures in basic sanitation systems, specifically for cement and water secondary mains of the Water and Sewage Company of Ceará. In order to evaluate the technical assumptions used to determine the depreciation rates of the wastewater and constant subdivisions and subdivisions, the reports of a contracted consulting firm, General of the Company in the year 2012/2013. The methodology, results and conclusions obtained from the implementation of the model for the revaluation of the useful life of the infrastructures, specifically of water supply and treatment systems of the Water and Sewage Company of Ceará, is described in the present work.
