Studies on the perception of barriers and support seek to understand the reasons that favor or hinder career development. Despite the consolidation of the field internationally, there is a lack of scales capable of measuring such variables in Brazil. Therefore, the objective of this study is to adapt and seek validity evidence based on the internal structure for the CBI-Likelihood, CBI-Coping and the Career Support questionnaire scales. This paper examined the scales through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, aiming to investigate the suitability of factor structure for the Brazilian context. The predominant profile was that of women, single, undergraduate students, with an income greater than 3 salaries and an age of 28 years old (mean). The results suggest that the original structures could not be maintained, however, other solutions supported the plausibility of the models. Therefore, evidence allows the proposition of an inventory capable of analyzing the perceptions of support and barriers in the career of Brazilians.
