Background. The object of the study is the methodological support of reliability (survivability and failure-free performance) of autonomous control systems (ACS). The subject of the study are methods, models and algorithms for assessing and predicting the indicators of persistence and failure-free performance of ACS during long-term storage. The purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for assessing and predicting the indicators of persistence and failure-free performance of ACS in long-term storage for information support of scientifically sound design and technological decisions that clarify the considered indicators in the design of promising products. Materials and methods. The general principles of system analysis, systems theory, operations research and mathematical statistics, theory of controlled multidimensional stochastic branching processes with a finite number of particle types, analytical apparatus of derivative functions, Markov analysis, numerical methods for solving systems of homogeneous differential equations were the methodological basis of the research. Results. A new method of determining the assigned shelf life before the write-off of special radio equipment representing non-repairable ACS by the sign of failure-free operation for gradual and sudden failures distributed according to the truncated exponential law, and at unequal zero left boundary of the operation time of products - according to the generalized truncated exponential law of distribution is proposed. Conclusions. The overall result of the work was the solution of an important task for ensuring the defense potential of the RF Armed Forces - the development of a methodology for assessing and predicting the reliability of special radio equipment representing AUS during long-term storage in Russia.
