Model of formation of skills of professional self-determination of schoolchildren in a general educational organization

The article presents a model of the formation of skills of professional self-determination of schoolchildren in a general educational organization, which includes three components: 1) the development of teachers’ competencies in matters of vocational guidance and self-determination of schoolchildren; 2) primary vocational guidance of students in grades 7–8 as one of the stages in the implementation of the education program for schoolchildren; 3) vocational guidance of students in social and humanitarian classes using the resources of the regional project «Modern School». A characteristic of their theoretical component and a presentation of the practical experience of implementation in MBOU Secondary School No. 19 named after the Hero of the Soviet Union I.F. Kotlyar (Timashevsk, Krasnodar Region). Social partnership with other educational institutions and potential employers is characterized as a mechanism for implementing the developed model.
