Amid the current global economic crisis, all institutions of society are affected by the moral crisis, so there is a clear and disturbing contradiction between them. This moral crisis involves the lack of personal values and citizens, affecting, significantly, the development of individual and social life. We try to check for signs of it in the axiological dimension of schools regarding curriculum and its development. To analyze the situation of the Spanish educational system about learning values, we applied a 1,320 survey of high school teachers, in order to determine the objectives, the types of values and personal and social skills that are developed in the classroom. The situation indicates that new approaches are needed to value education that fit these times. Axiological training should be incorporated into all areas of knowledge and must be matched to the training of intelligence. The binomial intellectual activity and moral activity must form a whole unsociable. In this proposal we reflect on the implementation of a new paradigm that separates axiological mechanistic rationalism, and aimed at a holistic axiological education, systematic, interdisciplinary and cross the entire curriculum.
