TRANS-TEXTUALIZATION AND CARNIVALIZATION IN "WHISTLER," BY ONDJAKI
Abstract
This article aims to observe the phenomenon of carnivalization and transtextuality the novel The Whistler, the Angolan writer Ondjaki. Comprise the theoretical analysis of Bakhtin’s theory on carnivalization and its importance for social subversion of monologic discourse established by official bodies, the theory of Gérard Genette on transtextuality pointing five possible textual relationships. An understanding of the theories and carnivalization transtextuality pervades the concepts of animism and taboo presented the theory of Sigmund Freud.
