History of translation: its importance in translation studies, its teaching through multimedia and multilingual software
Abstract
Drawing on the belief that each specific time translates in a different way, this article aims at highlighting the importance of a discipline on the History of Translation in a Translator Development course. To this end, some of the various functions which can be attributed to translation are listed.
