Doctor Nurys Nirma Diéguez Andrés is one of the outstanding personalities in the barely four decades of universal and free medicine in the Cuban province of Las Tunas. She started her graduate studies on Internal Medicine at Dr. Ernesto Guevara de la Serna Hospital, her long-life workplace, in 1981.
