CATALYTIC OXIDATION OF CUMENE BY OZONE IN ACETIC ACID
Abstract
Studied the reaction oxidation of cumene by ozone in the system acetic acid - trifluoroacetic acid in the presence of acetate Со (II). We found that the main direction of the reaction is the oxidation of the alkyl group to form dimethylfenylcarbinol, acetophenone and benzoic acid. Study the main factors affecting the process of catalytic ozonation of cumene. A mechanism of redox catalysis. The kinetic characteristics of the main stages of the catalytic cycle.
