Humic acids – a benefit for the envoronmental research

Abstract

The ecological situation established in the world at the present has brought about a dramatic increase in the need for the production of humic materials. Humic acids are more and more widely used in agriculture, medicine and veterinary medicine as biologically active and antitoxic facilities, remedies having the stimulating and protective effects upon the organism when its physiological functions are disturbed. They contribute to the growth of plants, are responsible for the structure and physical-chemical properties of soil, and are involved in the majority of surface phenomena that occur in soils.
