Pergamum: sistema informatizado da biblioteca da PUC/PR Pergamum: automatized systems of the library of PUC/PR
Abstract
O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar e enfatizar a importância da informática nos serviços inerentes à Biblioteca da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná/PUC-PR, agilizando nos processos técnicos (catalogação, classificação, indexação, seleção/aquisição, empréstimo/devolução e relatórios estatísticos). Também busca auxiliar o usuário do sistema a utilizar e compreender melhor o processo de pesquisa de informações no acervo existente na biblioteca. Apresenta também o nível de conhecimento e satisfação dos usuários quanto ao Sistema Pergamum da Biblioteca da PUC-PR, o que possibilitará alterações necessárias e aperfeiçoamentos desejáveis para melhor atendimento à comunidade acadêmica.The objective of this work is to present and to emphasize the importance of computer science in the inherente jobs the Library of Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná / PUC/PR, speeding the process technician (catalogation, classification , indexation, selection/acquisition, lending/devolution and statistical reports). Also it searchs to assist the user of the system to better use and to understand the process of research of information in the existing quantity in the library. It also presents the level of knowledge and satisfaction of the users how much to the system Pergamum of the Library of PUC/PR, what will make possible necessary alterations and desirable perfectionings for one better attendance the academic community.
