Validation of the Inventory on Formative Needs of the Students (INFS) in the “Practicum” (post-graduate teacher education) of Pedagogy
Abstract
With this study we present the process followed in the elaboration, design and validation of an inventory on formative needs of the students of the “Practicum” (post-graduate teacher education) of Pedagogy. Has been realized in order to identify needs perceived by the student body on the most outstanding aspects for the good development of the practices of the degree, being included all the educative scopes and areas (school, society and business). This inventory consists of 78 items distributed in the following categories: regulations, social skills, planning/development, assessment, documentation and management, the same has been validated by 30 teachers from the university who have worked as experts. The main objective of this inventory has been to know the formative needs of the students of 3º and 5º of Pedagogy on the required academic conditions in the subjects Practicum I and II. Through the validation it has been demonstrated that the six categories that form inventory INFS have an elevated level of validity.
