The research aims to Identify the differences in mindfulness between students practicing and not practicing sports in the colleges of the University of Mosul .The Researchers assumed that There is no significant differences in the degree of mindfulness between students practicing and not practicing sports in the colleges of the University of Mosul. The researchers used the descriptive method with the relational survey method for its suitability and the nature of the present research. The research community included students practicing and not practicing sports in the colleges of the University of Mosul, for the academic year (2018-2019) distributed to the colleges of the University of Mosul and the number (23). The research sample included students practicing and not practicing sports in the colleges of the University of Mosul, who are (250) players who were chosen randomly and to measure mental alertness in the research sample, the researchers adopted a measure of mindfulness among university students (Abdullah, 2013),.The researchers used the necessary scientific foundations Interferometers adapt to suit the nature of the current study population, and the researchers used a range of statistical methods. The researchers concluded the following: - Mosul University students generally have a good Degree of mindfulness. - The practice of sports activity is a slight change that did not reach the level of significant in raising mindfulness when comparing students practitioners and non-practitioners, according to the results of the research. The researchers have recommended the following: - Paying attention to developing the mental capabilities of students who are practicing and not practicing sports activity at the University of Mosul, as they are an important nucleus in society, by working to stimulate the process of scientific research in such areas. - Knowing the factors that create and increase students' abilities in mindfulness and generate students a kind of complete awareness and awareness
