Abstract

On the importance of education, depends, in large part, not only the future well-being of the nation, but at the same time its power, influence and even its existence as a distinct entity in the unanimously recognized regional and world configuration. The European Union acts in the field of education and professional training according to the principle of subsidiarity, each member state has full responsibility for the organization and the content of the internal national education system. The Union, however, adopted a series of European-wide programs in order to promote educational exchanges, academic mobility and mutual understanding.
