Consecuencias prácticas de la shālôm y su relación con la justicia hebrea

Abstract

In these times when the subject of peace is as current and this becomes relevant delve into the origins of the idea of peace in the West since its Greco-Latin and Judeo-Christian origins. This article methodologically through study of terms, exegetical and cultural aspects, aims to make visible the understanding of the Hebrew idea of peace and practical consequences of such understanding as well as their relationship with the Hebrew idea of justice. This in order to make visible the Jewish contribution to the idea of building inclusive Peace. It explores the different approaches in the history of the study of Peace and from the holi-inclusive proposal pacifism as an understanding of the Hebrew peace comes from Shalom, understood beyond the absence of war or conflict, as a historical project realization of well-being-integral of the individual. From this understanding five ethical and moral practices implications: peace and well-beingintegral, peace and life, peace and harmony with creation, peace and rest and peace and justice. In its relationship to justice the text of Isaiah 32:17 is taken to understand the relationship between justice and shalom and the implications of justice from the Shalom.
