This study aimed to evaluate the performance of cluster decentralized domestic wastewater treatment systems comprises sewage collection and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in one of the Indonesian most populous cities (Cimahi City). The sewage collection system serving 210 house connections and a WWTP operating biological treatment method (anaerobic biofilter) is treating 1.17 L/sec wastewater. Key hydraulic parameters (flow velocity, flowrate, and flow depth), and wastewater quality parameters (chemical oxygen demand (COD), and ammonia) was assessed for evaluation purposes. Samples were collected during peak and non-peak hours periods from three-subsequent segments of the sewer pipeline (253.28 m total length, 150mm diameter), and the inlet and outlet of anaerobic biofilter. Actual peak factors and wastewater characteristic changes along the sewarage and WWTP were calculated. The sewerage system did not meet the hydraulic design criteria, with a maximum peak factor of 4.8. The anaerobic biofilter unit did not reduce COD and ammonia concentration adequately.
