Analyse spatio-temporelle du paysage végétal du massif du Haut-Vénacais (Corse)
Abstract
The aim of this study is to improve research and reflections on the dynamics of vegetation using two approaches: landscape phytosociology and a transition matrix on the Haut-Vénacais massif in Haute-Corse. Two typologies and two maps of vegetations were developed on this massif within a 33 years interval: 1981 and 2014. The typology of vegetations is that proposed by the Corsican National Botanical Conservatory (Reymann et al., 2017). Vegetation dynamics were studied according to the dynamico-catenal phytosociological methodology, a typology of the ecological and landscape units (series, curtaseries and permaseries) was drawn up. This multiscalar approach was combined with the transition matrix in order to quantify the dynamic successions that took place in the Haut-Vénacais massif between 1981 and 2014 and then to define the global emergent properties of this territory in view to locate areas with a high conservation challenge depending on resilience of vegetation. A reflection is initiated to define, plan and evaluate the relevance of the choice of actions and conservation on the Haut-Vénacais massif.
