Creating an inclusive and supportive environment, which is an environment that favors the development of people with disabilities, becomes an important challenge of contemporary school. One of the objectives for the realization of this idea is to break stereotypes about people with disabilities and to develop appropriate attitudes towards them. Undertaken research was intended to examine attitudes towards people with different disabilities presented by the students of a primary school and to determine their change in the context of educational activities. The results show that properly planned educational programmes familiarizing pupils with various aspects of the functioning of persons with disabilities contribute to a significant change of their attitudes towards them.
