The effects of the quality of support services on the image of the university: A case of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology
Abstract
The image of a University can be determined by some factors; two of them can be controlled by universities: the quality of support services and perceived value of training quality. This study develops and tests the relationship between three above factors, university image, the quality of support services and the perceived value of training quality. The research model was tested on a sample of 300 students, who are attending the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. The results show that, (1) the quality of support service is an explanatory factor affecting directly and indirectly university image through intermediate factor which is perceived value of training quality; (2) There have been a positive relationship between quality services and student's perceived value of training quality. Discussions and implications have been presented accordingly.
