Abstract
The french leyend about Charles descovering the holly grave of Saint Jacques presents a very atractive and controversial problem. Along fifthen years I have study the cultural links between Hispania and Galia. I agreed with Adeline Rucquoi’s tesis about the explaining the routes of knowledge and I brought her hypotesis towards VIIIth century. In this paper I ‘m trying to give my own hypotesis about certein possible conection between Compostela’s relics in the Frederic I Hohenstaufen poject for sacralize the German Empire.
