In the work is described the process of design of this curricular Strategy of Environmental Education for the Sustainable Development; it is demonstrated how you proceeded in their improvement in the search of the interrelation among the processes university, pondering that of extension; it is illustrated with examples of actions and procedures for the implementation of the curricular Strategy and they are related the first achieved impacts of the systematic evaluation of their execution. The proposal that she is carried out it constitutes result of the institutional project The University Extension in the University of Pedagogic Sciences Félix Varela in Villa Clara and their projection to the local development.
