Malocclusion and Its Relation to Headform

Abstract

A study was carried out to get impression on the relationship of headroom, type of malocclusion, and facial profile on groups of male and female students of Faculty of Medicine, the University of Indonesia, Jakarta. THe result showed that the biggest part of either male or female students had hyperbrachycephaly - brachycephaly head index, malocclusion typer III and retrognathic - orthognathic facial profile on male students and orthognathic - retrognathic facial profile on female students.
