Teacher Remuneration Policy of the Pará State Teaching Network
Abstract
The article analyzes data extracted from the teacher payroll of the Pará state educational system, aiming to understand the remuneration from the exam of the elements of composition, that is, remuneration and pecuniary advantages, for the period from 2006 to 2014. The items that compose the remuneration were grouped into subcategories comprising the same intention, which made possible to identify the most significant elements in its composition, as well as the maintenance, exclusions and inclusion of some bonuses and allowances. The greater weight among the components of the remuneration is on the compensation, but its proportion in relation to the other components is decreasing, mainly related to personal advantages, which was the group with the most expressive increase. This refers to a type of remuneration policy that focuses on specific groups, to the detriment of the collective, with positive consequences for the budget, but negative for the organization and the appreciation of the career.
