"The western colonial forces arised during the political fall of Muslim society in 17th and 18th century. Western powers not only established military domination, but also influenced Muslim society by their civilization. At the same time the Sanusi movement proved to be a determination for Muslims in the North Africa, which was the most successful movement of Islam founded by the Sufi leader of Algeria Syed Mohammad bin Ali Al Sanusi(1787: 1859). This movement has deeply influenced the historical events in Arabia and North Africa, and played a significant role in the revival of the Muslim world on the basis of Quran and Sunnah. Dr.Mahmood Ahmad Ghazi's book ""The Sanusiyyah Movement of North Africa an analytical Study"" was published in 2001 by Sharia Academy International Islamic University. Ghazi’s work is based on the deep study of the religious and political movement of this era. The special distinction of this movement sanusi did not only tried to establish a government on the basis of Islamic law but also observed tasawaf for the purification of its workers the Muslim historian and researchers through Sufi actions. This article aimed to introduce the distinctive efforts of Dr.Ghazi and his deep analytical approach for the comprehension of this movement, which has usually neglected by Muslim historian and researchers. "
