AUSTRALIA’S TRADE IN GOODS WITH SLOVENIA AND THE WESTERN BALKAN COUNTRIES
Abstract
This paper deals with Australia’s trade in goods with Slovenia and the Western Balkan countries (i.e., Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia)1 ; Australia’s less important trade partners that together account for less than 0.1 per cent of the value of Australia’s total trade in goods. In 2013, the value of Australia’s trade in goods with Slovenia and the Western Balkan countries amounted to $188.6 million, of which the value of Australia’s exports of goods to these countries amounted to $45.9 million, less than 25 per cent of the total value.
