Loriot as a Symbolic Interactionist. Or: Why We Sometimes Need to Negotiate Social Order Even in a Bathtub
Abstract
The following essay intends to outline both the theoretical (action theory) and methodological essentials of Symbolic Interactionism in a predominantly student-oriented way. The importance of norms in generating social order is discussed by referring to a satirical example. Almost unnoticed the reader is made familiar with the central terminology as well as with the reconstructive methodology of Symbolic Interactionism. URN: urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs0701279
