In the title molecule, C22H20N2O4, the dihedral angles between the benzimidazole ring system and the benzene rings are 44.26 (2) and 82.91 (2)°. Intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds occur. In the crystal, O—H...N and O—H...O hydrogen bonds connect the molecules into a two-dimension network parallel to (10overline{2}) and weak intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds complete the formation of a three-dimensional network.
