Mahāprabhu Śrī Caitanya is a great devotee of Lord Kṛṣṇa, and also He is equivalent to Śrī Kṛṣṇa. He is very renowned in Hindu religion and especially He is a Viṣṇubhakta and an Avatāra of God Viṣṇu. Lord Caitanya was the Ambrosia of love and devotion and He possesses a keen devotion towards Lord Kṛṣṇa and Rādhārāṇī. In Caitanya Cult Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the source of rasa, that means Divine Pleasure, Śrī Rādhā is the cause of Ānanda. And they are not separate from each other. Poet Lochan Das says about the great devotional attachment of both Śrī Rādhā and Lord Kṛṣṇa in his Caitanya Mangal as follows: Radhar barane anga Gouranga haia/ Radhikar bhabasa antare dharia// ( Utkal Mañjūṣā.P.41 ) Lord Caitanya recommends the chanting of the holy names of Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the only way to get Salvation. The Present Paper defines the description of Lord Caitanya from different aspects briefly.
