SISTEMA DE GESTIÓN AVANZADO BASADO EN INFORMACIÓN ESPACIAL PARA LA OLEICULTURA

Abstract

In this paper a prototype system named "AGRISIG" is presented. This prototype is able to manipulate the information in olive farms, and farms are grouped in cooperative mills with its partners set up as producers or other companies and solve problems that appear at present, giving special support in the layout of oil. The prototype reports to the mills and its farmers at all time. In addition, this prototype connects perfectly with a System of Spatial Information, by using its database, which shows statistics and information related to the different estates of the producers and to the works carried out in them. In order to integrate all these elements we have developed three prototype applications. These are:• "SIGEA". Prototype for the cooperative mills. • "SIGEPRO". Prototype for the farmer. • "ABSIG". System of Spatial Information of the olive grove.
