Abstract

How can we make humanitarianism ‘of the world’ rather than‘of the North’? Fundamental humanitarian values are sharedby all cultures. Not so, however, the baggage, the culturaldifferences and the power relations that come with theNorthern-dominated humanitarian relationship.
