Non familial multiple cutaneous leiomayoma. Case presentation
Abstract
Cutaneous leiomyoma is a benign tumor of low frequency, described with an inherited dominant autosomal pattern. It is originated at the hair erector muscle. In this article, it is presented a case of a 61 year old, female patient who came to the dermatology consultation due to having lesions of tumoral aspect, as the size of a pea, distributed in the trunk and limbs in an irregular way of years of progress. The anatomic-pathological study of the cutaneous lesions confirmed the diagnosis of cutaneous leiomyomia. The necessary studies for ruling out renal tumor were performed due to the low frequency of both affections. As it is an uncommon disease it was decided its publication.
