Il diritto delle bambine all’istruzione sulle pagine di due riviste dell’inizio del Novecento: «Unione Femminile» e «La difesa delle lavoratrici»
Abstract
In the first two decades of the Twentieth Century, the debate on the education of girls is very lively and is promoted by women’s associations, which for the first time are on the public stage. This paper analyzes some articles of «Unione Femminile» e «La difesa delle lavoratrici», published in the years 1903-1914. The analysis shows how the issue of girl’s right to education was urgent for the women’s associations; it was accompanied by the denunciation of the condition of exploitation of girls. The associations also fought for the rights of women teachers.
