Centros de Educação de Jovens e Adultos: Uma forma de ofertar educação a quem não teve oportunidade na idade própria em Mato Grosso

Abstract

This paper is about the Youngster and Adult Education and its importance to the education of people who were unable to complete their studies at the appropriate age. Your goal is to understand the historical con-text of adult education in Brazil and also report the creation and implemen-tation of the Youngster and Adult Education Centers (YAEC) in the state of Mato Grosso. This form of supply is a concern to fit the characteristics of students who use this type of education in the state. Despite the advances obtained for adult education in recent decades, there are still obstacles to be overcome and the need for educational policies that meet the social de-mands and opportunity quality education for all.
