The Effects of Globalization on Ceramic Art Education
Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of globalization on ceramic art and ceramic education. The experts’ opinions of the globalization on the effects of ceramic art education were specified as the inferior problems. Samples of this research are 26 faculty lecturers who were randomly selected from 11 Higher Education Institutions in Turkey. Information Collection Form developed by the researcher was used as data collection tool. In the study, data obtained by the information collection form were analysed by using descriptive statistical techniques including percentage (%), frequency and arithmetic mean. As a result of the research, it has been determined that globalization affects the education of ceramic art in positive and negative aspects.
