El bandeirismo moderno: La expansión de fronteras agrícolas en el neo desarrollismo brasileño

Abstract

The parliamentary coup in Brazil brings about a reflection about of limits of redevelopment strategies. For us, one aspect that broke said social class deal is configuration of social conflicts and class expressed in a model of occupation in Brazilian‟s countryside.What we call “modern banderismo”, is structuring process that had delimited the strategies and forced a form of capitalist development in the field. In this way, the objective of this article is to have a theoretical-historical discussion about the expansion of agricultural frontiers involved in modern bandeirismo. For that, we will have a conceptual and critical discussion starting with a bibliographic revision, as well as the interpretation of statistics that could express conflicts like deforestation, slave labor and fighting for the land.
