Türkiye ve G8 Ülkelerinin Lojistik Performans Endeksine Göre Karşılaştırılması
Abstract
Öz Küreselleşme ve artan rekabetle birlikte, lojistik uluslararası ticarette önemli bir unsur haline gelmiştir. Küresel düzeyde rekabetin yaşanması, firmaların ürünlerini daha hızlı bir şekilde hazır ederek, teslim etmelerini gerektirmektedir. Üretim maliyetlerinin birbirine yakın değerler arz ettiği günümüz ortamında, rekabet edebilme de lojistik hizmetlerin önemi giderek artmaktadır. Dünya ticaretinden daha fazla pay elde etmede ülkelerin lojistik kapasiteleri ve alt yapıları da önemli bir hal almıştır. Dünya bankası tarafından ülkelerin temel lojistik aktivitelerine yönelik performanslarının ortaya konulması amacı ile 2007 yılından bu yana Küresel Lojistik Performans Endeksi ölçümleri yapılmaktadır. İlki 2007 yılında yapılan lojistik performans endeksi 2 yılda bir yayımlanmakta ve böylece ülkelerin gelişimleri de takip edilebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada lojistik sektörünün G8 ülkeleri ile Türkiye arasındaki karşılaştırmalı durumunu ortaya koymak amacı ile Dünya Bankası tarafından hazırlanan Lojistik performans Endeksi Kullanılmıştır. Çalışma da Türkiye’nin ve G8 ülkelerinin lojistik performans endeksindeki mevcut durumu, ülkelerin avantajları ve dezavantajları ele alınarak, çözüm önerileri ortaya konulmuştur. In today’s environment where production costs are close to each other, the importance of logistics servıces in competition is qradually increasing. The logistical capacities and infrastructures of the countries have also become important in gaining more share from world trade. Global Logıstıcs Performance Index has been measured by the World Bank since 2007 in order to demonstrate the performances of the countries in terms of basic logistics activities. The firs logistic performance ındex, which was made in 2007, is published every two years so that the developments of the countries can be followed.In thıs study, Logistics Performance Index prepared by World Bank is used with the aim to reveal the comperative situation between the G8 countries and Turkey logistics sector. In the study, solutions fort he current situation in the logistics Performance Index of the Turkey and the G8 countries are given by considering the advantages and disadvantages of each country.
