The purpose of the study is to develop theoretical provisions on the dependence of population’s general integrated health status on the total aggregate profit indicator of the food business. The subject of the study is the mechanism of the relationship between health state and food business profitability. A number of literary sources devoted to the generalization of health state and economic development of the country have been considered. The theoretical dependence of the health status integral indicator on the total cumulative rate of total profit of the agro-industrial complex, food industry, and retail has been proved. The variants of changing health state with different parameters of its parabolic dependence on the food business total profitability have been studied. A conditional numerical example of health state dependence in the form of a cubic parabola on changes in the total cumulative profit margin of food business has been presented and analyzed. Main task of establishing and achieving health indicators (general goal) is not only market, but also state provision of appropriate parameters. It has been proven that the food sales profitability growth affects changes in population’s health status in terms of eating and metabolic disorders.
