This vignette reflects on the use of global literature to encourage reading in students who are not avid readers. Using a process named "Learn, Think, Act", teachers used literature to introduce students to a variety of subjects, encouraged them to critically engage with what they read, and lead activities related to themes and topics within the books to address community and global issues.
