The migration flux of Venezuelan citizens between 2017 and 2018 has significantly affected many South American countries, such as Brazil, the sixth biggest host country in the region, according to the UNHCR. In Brazil, Venezuelan forced migrants usually come in through Roraima and probably stay in the region, because they do not have conditions to travel to other places in the country. In this sense, “Operação Acolhida” has brought a solution to this Northern dilemma: The National Program of Interiorization has assisted hundreds of Venezuelans to move from Roraima in search of a new life. Hence, this article shows the importance of cooperation, based on a construtivist view that recognizes other actors, besides states, necessary for the success of interiorization that started in 2018. The research was quali-quantitative, bibliographic, and of case-study, concluding that cooperation among actors had an important beginning in 2018 in Paraiba, in order to achieve forced migrants Venezuelans’ integration.
